I think I’m making progress, but I honestly can’t tell. Also, I have discovered the one thing that full-blown Office does that starter Office doesn’t. Custom page numbers. I am not paying you $200 for custom page numbers, Microsoft.

I really want printed/bound/paperback fics, too. I tried it once, with the fic that pretty much got me into fics but it was way too long and I had no idea how to go about it. Anyway. It really should happen somewhere, somehow, someday.

Long is good. Although I need to figure out how long a story can be before it needs to be two books. Aiming for proper paperback-sized right now. I don’t like spiral-bound print books. This part of the fic is coming out to 50pg with my current formatting.

With any luck I can get the method down and make a few for other people (assuming they don’t mind my amateur hands on it) — or explain it to them.

And I have been wishing there were some kind of redbubble option for writers - artists get to make some money off drawings, but there’s nothing comparable for writers. Heck, I’d be happy to be able to do giveaways, even if I can’t sell it. So. AWESOME THINKING.
